Bun Bo hue was great! I asked to swap for rice noodles. The beef vermicelli noodles wasn't what I expected. The noodles were not the usual noodles that I expected. It had a weird chew so I wasn't a fan. The pork banh mi was good but the bun was softer than expected and was missing the outer crunch. The flavor was good though. It was cheap for 6.50ish Our favorite was definitely the bun Bo hue which I would get again. Portions were average. Service was good. I order a pork chop over rice for takeout. Next time I want to try their viet coffee which I read was good.

The food here was SO good. Minimal waiting time and the service was very fast and attentive. The prices are unbeatable and you know it's good when it's attached to a grocery store too. Definitely will be coming back!

I've been coming here consistently for 4-5 years to get their Bun Bo Hue! It's flavorful, spicy, and rich. The noodles have a great texture and bounce. It's authentic and warms up your soul. I don't really like their Banh mi as much though, but the noodle and rice dishes are good for their cheap price!

When my boyfriend suggested we return to Dong Ky, I was thrilled. Last time, I enjoyed the pork belly and egg, along with another dish. The thought of that pork belly and egg makes my mouth water. I seriously think about that dish every once in a while. This is the kind of hidden gem everyone should dream of visiting! The place is clean, and the staff are welcoming. The food here makes me so happy. The pork belly and egg dish is small, but the flavor and execution are outstanding. The prices are great too. The other two dishes we tried were huge portions! The shrimp was large, delicious, and perfectly cooked. Though I'm not usually a fan of shell-on shrimp, it was quite good. The beef salad offered fantastic value for the money. If I had to recommend anything, it would definitely be the pork belly and egg, paired with the beef salad. If you look at the book of a menu they do everything quite well. I saw other people's tables and the meals look amazing. Come hungry and leave full.

My sister and he mother-in-law went to have lunch with me. I had a combination pho. My sister too had the same. Her mother-in-law had the beef with tendon pho. It was delicious! Recommended.

What a gem we found at this restaurant. We walked into the Park to Shop grocery store in a parking lot and saw this restaurant. We walked in and decided to have a bite to eat in the middle of the afternoon. There were some open tables when we came and by the time we were done all the tables were filled. The food was good and the pricing was even better! We ordered the spring rolls, the bahn xeo (crispy vietnamese crepe), combination Bahn mi, We will have to come back to try more dishes!

We were in the neighborhood for a concert at the Aragon Ballroom and all of the restaurants we knew in the area had crazy waits, so when we stumbled into Dong Ky, we didn't quite know what to expect. The entrance was off of a local Asian grocery store, but the second we walked into their door, we were hit with some incredible smells. I ordered a pho and my husband ordered a bahn mi. Both of our meals came out quickly and were packed with fresh flavors. Overall, the space was unassuming but the food was incredible and turned into a highlight of our night out for a concert.

Finally stepped into this joint after moving to the area well over a year ago and I'm super happy I did. The staff was so friendly here compared to some other places I've been to in the area, but most importantly, the food was delicious and affordable! The entrance is located within the entrance of the Asian grocery store next door (Park To Shop). This place is a very no-frills type of restaurant with a very extensive menu. We ordered the Thịt Kho (braised pork belly with hard boiled egg and fish sauce), the Canh Chua Cá (sweet & sour catfish soup, as well as a little appetizer and everything was soooo good. This meal was perfect for a rainy day! Also - super grateful they are BYOB and also open on Mondays! Will be back.
